Today was a rather sad day. While out running errands, I swung by Tower Records. As some of you may know, Tower is going out of business after years of struggling with bankruptcy. For sentimental reasons, and the fact that everything was 30% off, I decided to pick-up a couple albums. Some of the albums I remember buying at various Towers include Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, Damn the Torpedoes, and Howl. Granted, Tower were never my first choice for buying music. However, it was always a reliable alternative for whatever you might have needed wherever you were in the county. You’ll be missed.
